In a statement posted on Monday via its official X (formerly Twitter) handle, the Commission said the arrests were made by operatives from the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 following intelligence-led operations and sustained surveillance.
Among those apprehended were 95 men and 25 women, allegedly involved in a range of internet fraud activities. The operation also led to the seizure of 26 exotic vehicles, luxury jewellery, mobile phones, laptops, and several incriminating documents.
